One studio calendar fills in the rest of the season.

Ovation reads the competitions, closures, and events from the studio calendar. Competitions become placeholders with their dates, and each closure lists the classes it cancels.

Can Ovation import a dance schedule from a screenshot?

Yes. Ovation reads a weekly class schedule from a screenshot or photo, a PDF, the camera, or pasted text, and shows you every class it found to check before anything is saved.

Can Ovation import a studio calendar?

Yes. Send the studio's season calendar as a PDF, a photo, pasted text, or a link to the page on the studio's website. Ovation marks each date Competition, Closure, Event or Other for you to check: competitions become placeholders with their dates, closures cancel the classes you tick, and events are added for the whole family.

Can Ovation create recurring weekly dance classes?

Yes. Each imported class is marked Recurring or One-time, and you can change it. Add the season's start and end for recurring classes, or leave it open for ongoing weekly classes.

Do I review dates before they are saved?

Yes. Ovation shows what it found before saving. You can fix anything and switch off what you do not need, and classes already on your schedule come in switched off, so nothing is added twice.

What happens to classes when the studio is closed?

A closure lists the classes that meet on those dates, all ticked to start with; untick any that still meet. The rest stay on your schedule struck through and marked Skipped, and Ovation sends no class reminders for them. A closure also applies to classes you add later on those dates.

Do imports cost anything?

The free plan includes your first two AI imports, and Ovation Pro has no limit. Typing classes in yourself is free.

Is Ovation only for dance competitions?

No. Ovation organizes weekly classes, rehearsals, studio dates, and competitions as part of the dancer’s full season.
